Dan launched his first company at 19, wiring Australia’s telco backbone from pits to premises, and building a client base of businesses, offering IT and Security. That hands-on decade taught him the value of rigorous systems and field-level data. A pivot into TechForce Management saw him co-found and scale a 250-strong hybrid workforce that rolled out NBN across multiple States, underpinned by bespoke software that he and his development team built in-house.
Next came Float Accounting & Advisory where Dan:
- Co-founded a successful accounting and advisory firm
- Established an offshore service team that cut admin overhead by 50 % while lifting service quality
- Automated sales & billing, slashing aged receivables to < 1.5 % of revenue
- Rolled out a complete tech stack that boosted firm-wide productivity by 20 %
Along the way, Dan completed his MBA while raising a young family and chairing the 10,000-resident not-for-profit Sanctuary Lakes Resort Services Ltd.
